Complete Systems- Complete replacement exhaust systems that represent the first level of serious performance improvement
- For riders who expect sports performance, but not the extreme racing characteristics of an Akrapovic race-replica exhaust system
- Intended for everyday use, while offering unmatched power and torque
- A complete reworking of the OEM system allows increases in available power and torque over the entire rpm range – this means a smoother application of power and torque, making the bike especially pleasant for everyday riding
- At the same time the Supersport system gives the bike an unmistakable sound, noticeably lighter weight and aesthetic elegance, in most cases in polished stainless steel
- Some Supersport models include crossover tubes installed between the header tubes, as test results indicated that for these models the crossover tubes provide increased exhaust system performance.
NOTE: It is recommended that new exhaust gaskets and a proper jet kit be installed when changing an exhaust system on a carbureted motorcycle. It is recommended that new exhaust gaskets and a Power Commander be installed when changing an exhaust system on a fuel-injected motorcycle. NOTE: There is no warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to any discoloration. Discoloration (blueing) is caused by tuning characteristics, i.e. cam timing, carburetor jetting, overheating, etc., and is not caused by defective manufacturing. See the Lubes section for products that will help prevent or remove blueing.
